2024: Overview

WHITEOUT:  1) noun. a condition of heavily falling snow.  2) verb. to blot out a mistake that has been made.
So are we using the meteorological or the typographical meaning of the word?  YES!  Absolutely, both.  The natural environment is bound in snow, but the spiritual environment is one that highlights our call to live as those forgiven--those whose sin has been washed white as snow (Isaiah 1:18).  As such, WHITEOUT is our winter retreat offering for those who are currently in 6th grade through 12th grade

Hesperus offers the opportunity to take a weekend away from school and retreat to a winter wonderland with frigid, crazy fun.  Our staff are experts in providing a meaningful experience that is safe and incredibly fun (and frigid). At Hesperus Camp, you will be encouraged through the gospel message, engage in meaningful worship and get some time alone and with your group to process what God is doing in your life.

At the same time, Hesperus is intentional about its high energy recreation and allowing kids to be kids. That includes things like 33 MPH zip-lines, snowshoe disc golf, sledding, and a host of other things! If you allow it, a weekend at Hesperus can recharge you and refocus you for a strong finish of the school year. We look forward to seeing you this winter!
